If Nintendo asked you to make a Mario game for there new console or Switch.
What would your game be like which style would the game be? Does the game have a story in it? and so on with other questions.
I think my game would be a Mario game but you have to travel in the pass as Bowser took over the pass which changed the present and you have to defeat all the bosses in the pass time so the present and future can be back to normal. I say the style most likely be new soup for this game or a 3D world.
1. Boxing / Kickboxing Mario 😆
2. Mario Kingdom Builders
3. The Marios (The Sims style of Mario)
4. Para Para Mariodise (Para Para Paradise)
5. Pikachu Mario Bros. 😆
@ReaderRagfihs Man, you should write children's books. You've got quite the imagination.
Missing the bit about the pineapple, though... EDIT:
Oh, wait. That wasn't you but @AlohaPizzaJack.
I'd make my own Mario JRPG with crossovers from a bunch of other Nintendo and related IP. Mario would be your starting character and you'd set out on a journey to save the gaming multi-verse from a mad scientist who seeks to merge all the different game universes into one. But Rosalina and Princess Zelda warn Mario and Link that if this happens, all game characters will lose their own identities and blur together.
Main party characters would be Mario(fighter/brawler), Link(warrior), Pikachu(mage), Samus(ranged), Rosalina(light mage/healer), Kirby(who copies the specials of a chosen character) and Zelda who can switch between a mage (Zelda) or a ninja (Shiek). Also temporary characters would be Sora, Goku, Snake, Minecraft Steve, Cloud and Sonic. All non-Nintendo characters who have appeared on Nintendo systems. They'd each join you for specific story segments as guest party members and would re-appear in a final confrontation with the big bad at the end of the game.
It'd have all the classic JRPG fun. Changable equipment for all characters, and you'd be able to see the equipment they have on. It would all be based on each character's respective universes, leveling and skill trees too.
There'd be loads of NPC characters too, Toads, Pokemon, Goron, etc... Mini games based around the different games too. There'd be mountains of Nintendo and non-Nintendo gaming references from across the era. Loads of hidden lore and Easter Eggs, and mountains of optional side quests.
In the end the Mad scientist would be revealed as the body behind Master Hand and Crazy hand from Super Smash Brothers, none other than Masahiro Sakurai who had been driven crazy by overwork and seeking to create the ultimate game. In defeating him you'd restore his sanity(and health) and save the gaming multiverse!
I imagine this would be a 60 hour main story, but upwards of 200 if you do all the side content. I'd get permission to draw music from all the different games as well.
And finally I'd do the whole thing in an HD-2D style. With piles of sprite-work especially for the main characters because every piece of equipment would be something visible.
