Honestly, the ads are amusing, but not irritating, so I'll never use adblocker.
Let me explain - a lot of professional Websites rely on ad revenue to stay afloat. That revenue comes from page impressions. When someone who is using adblocker visits a page, his/ her visit is not recorded as a "impression" for the advertisers. Therefore they don't get any revenue.
For sites I like, I don't mind seeing an ad - in a way, it's supporting the company.

Yeah, the only ad I ever found irritating was the Best Buy one. THAT was annoying.
Just let it happen.

I get annoyed at some ads, but I never block them unless my browser already does it for me. As stated, sites generate revenue to stay afloat and not charge users. Anytime a site has begun to charge for content or split their user base with regular and premium, I've stopped visiting altogether.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
