We don't need "BattleGlitch". We're getting Splatoon LOL
I hate EA. They are the worst company in the whole world and they ruin great games.
Plants vs. Zombies 2 should have come out on PC, but instead they released it on tablets and added micro-transactions. And then there's Garden Warfare, it should have come out on Steam instead... NO ONE USES ORIGIN BECAUSE IT SUCKS.

I do not like EA at all, but I'm honestly curious towards why people hate on Origin. I don't really see how it's different from Steam.

Plenty of people use Origin as it is almost identical to Steam, so if you really wanted to play it on PC you would have brought it and honestly barely anyone who games on PC restricts themselves to one store as that is silly.

It has micro-transactions but you are not forced to purchase anything. In fact it's a great example of free to pay done well, as you don't need to pay to win.
And if the client you download your game on is really what effects your game experience, I suggest you go outside.

This is a Nintendo fanboy we're talking about people.
They can't bare playing games on two systems. It's against their religion.
Are you talking about me? In that case you're contradicting yourself since I'm talking about it being on PC, and if I am a Nintendo fan boy I'd be playing on my Wii U and 3DS.

If I'm going to be honest I haven't played the game, I've only seen it, and it seems like such a let down compared to the previous game.
The thing with micro-transactions. They are adding dumb parts to the game to make you buy more coins. You can complete it without spending any money, but to do that you have to grind and waste time... That's the whole point of micro-transactions.
It's all about milking.

The main thing is that I want all my PC games in one collection: Steam.
And yes, I hate it because it's related to EA. I guess it's not Origin itself that is bad, but rather all the software on it. SimCity didn't work for what, weeks? Battlefield 4 is still bugged? And it's all related to EA.
Why would I want to support the company who bought PopCap AND RUINED MY BELOVED PvZ

I know you haven't played the game. That whole paragraph proves you haven't played the game.

Can you confirm that you can play through the whole game without having to grind for any coins? That would make me very happy!
Too bad I can't play the game on my HTC...

Speaking of EA, just downloaded Fifa 14 on my android. Did not expect much, but tried it anyways... it was ''free'' anyways so lol.
They said it had stunning realistic graphics, and they did not lie, EA never lies. I mean look at these beautiful graphics!
And it's on every system! PS1 PS2 GBA 3DS DS WII PS3 XBOX XBOX 360 and no Wii U!
For reals tho, good thing we're not getting this garbage on Wii U.

I'm pretty sure you still have to do a lot of Grinding. I personally prefer games where you're given a lot at the start like League of Legends, rather than only given a little, then having to unlock the rest over a long period of time...
I just realized we're not talking about Garden Warfare, aka the F2P-style game in a paid product. I know that's apparently where it's really tedious to unlock stuff.
Yes. I mean, one or two are okay, but at best it's a necessary evil. At worst it's the bane of a gamer's existance. Nothing like popping a game in for a quick play, only to have to download a gigabyte of patches...
Would you rather that quick play be a smooth experience or for it to be buggy?
Yes, a game shouldn't be shipped if it's unplayable, but there are so many variables when playing an online game it's stupid to assume you won't have to download patches for a game like Battlefield 4.
Also, patches shouldn't be a problem with current gen systems downloading the files while it is in standby mode.
you are missing the point. btw the majority of the game i play do not require them. they are made right the first time.

frame rate drops and severe glitches are not ok or excusable variables. we are talking about ea but we could easily be talking about ubisoft wii u ports. these are mutimillion dollar companys. it is inexcusable. the point you are missing is the severity of the glitches we are joking about.

Don't get me wrong I hate EA as much as the next dood, and I'll give them plenty of flak where it's deserved, but I just don't see the Origin hate.

Well as I said, it's not really Origin, it's that it's owned by EA and all the bugs the games on it has.
But then there's also that if I want an Origin exclusive game I have to buy it there, and can't add that to my Steam collection of games, my friends don't use it, and if I go fullscreen it covers the Windows Toolbar >.>
