1. Ocarina of Time 2. The Wind Waker 3. A Link to the Past 4. Phantom Hourglass 5. Majora's Mask 6. Twilight Princess 7. Link's Awakening 8. The Legend of Zelda 9. The Minish Cap 10. Spirit Tracks
7. Zelda II - Really great game. I love the action/overworld setup. The only issue I have with this game is I can't get past the second dungeon, because my skills are lacking.
6. Legend of Zelda - Would not have had the patience to beat this game as a kid. Made a table in a word document and added squares accordingly to make a map; one of the most satisfying completions ever (though I still need to tackle 2nd quest). An oldie but a goodie.
5. Wind Waker - Boring sailing is boring.
4. Phantom Hourglass - A little on the easy side, but they fixed the sailing from WW. I like the cell shaded art style on a portable. The characters you partnered with were interesting too. It's always welcome when they put a little bit of effort into developing characters in a Zelda game. I didn't even mind the Ocean King temple (I would have repeated every floor with each new item anyway to 100% the game).
3. Majora's Mask - Pain in the butt to 100%. I have it on the VC and want to play it again, hopefully now that I am an adult I can deal with the frustration and will be smart enough to figure out all the side quests without a codebook. I never got past the first dungeon the first time around, because the time limit frustrated me. I hope I can, because I really think all of the NPC's and the story are pretty interesting.
2. Twilight Princess - Wish it had been a bit harder, but all around a good game. I really enjoyed the wolf mechanic too. Unfortunately, it just sort of felt like a bigger...
1. Ocarina of Time - Nostalgia will assure this will always be the perfection of 3D adventure gaming in my mind. I've pretty much memorized this game, and I'd still play it again, because I love it. It just blew me away with its 3D adventure perfection. It fulfilled everything I imagined video games could and should be as a child with a vast world to explore filled with enemies, twists, puzzles, realism, fantasy, and awesomesauce.
Still lots more games I want to play, so I'm sure that this list will change as I make it through my VC games and pick up some of the older portable titles. I have at least one of the Oracles and Link's Awakening (DX?) lying around somewhere.
