In a whole deadliest warrior sort of way, Link would get his butt handed to him. Master Chief has guns of all shapes and sizes plus an armored suit. Link wears a tunic and brandishes a sword. He's not exactly a ninja either, he's just good with the weapons of his time but not much of an agile sort. Also, his understanding of magic is minimal, causing him to lose what could have been a great advantage.

Link has several items that make him completely invincible, and he can chug a blue potion to refill his magic meter. He just needs to stand in the middle of a bunch of cuccos and wait for Master Chief to shoot.
