I dont HATE any genre really, but I do dislike realistic sports games, mmorpgs, WWII games (all of them. they have been done to death. people need to give it up...Im looking at YOU ea games) I also hate turn based games. But I love paper mario.....weird
Wii : 5234 3442 0233 5325 3DS: 2664-2106-1671 I have A LOT of games, if you want to play something, just email me jangonov...
Apart from occasional innovators in the field(Deus Ex, early Medal Or Honour games, Timesplitters 2..errrrrrrr.......that's it really), it's a kind mechanic which is essentially unchanged from it's birth in the shape of 'Wolfenstein'.
And WHY do they always have to use so much brown? Would it hurt you to use primary colours?

I know right?! It seems developers think "we need realistic graphics...but those are hard to do. I KNOW! Ill just slap brown and gray together and people will think it looks like gears of war!"
Seriously, I hate realistic racing games and anything the rquires super-human skills like Colorz. If you want hardcore, you really NEED to play that game alone - how I love that second world with the purple homing thingies and levels that scroll so fast you just wish you had a random hyperspace button.
First you get the sugar, then you get the power, then you get the women.
ooo there are many I don't like, maybe because I feel they've become stale (beat em ups, FPS, TPS) or perhaps because I find them more boring than the real thing (sports, driving simulators, rhythm games)...
but I reserve a special place in my heart for my hatred of RPGs, specifically turn based JRPGs. Each to his own I guess
but I think this dislike of genres comes from those who have watched video games evolve, having seen enough of certain types of gameplay. We want new ideas and new directions, and Nintendo has pointed the way somewhat, so well done Ninty give yourself a pat on the back.
