I don't think there's already a thread for this, so I'm starting one. Share your last.fm pages and talk about cool stuff on last.fm http://www.last.fm/user/grenworthshero
I love last.fm, but I sooo wish it would work with Zune, too. I don't have an iPod anymore because I hate iTunes, and since I got a Zune, I use that a lot more than Windows Media Player now. Oh, by the way...if anyone else has a Zune, my username is the same on there, too, so add me on Zune social.

No, I don't ever use last.fm to listen to music. I use Pandora if I want something like that, but I just listen to my library, usually. I have seen that program before, but I didn't download it because it's not official and it's still in beta so I didn't know how well it would work.
@grensworthhero I hear you man. I use a Cowon S9, and even Zenses doesn't work with that. :/ Apparently I need to re-sync all of my music in MTP mode for Zenses to detect my plays, and that's gonna take ages to do. I'll do it eventually. I listen to way more music on my S9 than on my computer.
I use an iPod, so it scrobbles. Has an annoying habit of not scrobbling anything that's not already in my last.fm library though. So when I get a new album, have to either listen to the whole thing in iTunes without skipping any tracks, or skip through them all and love bomb ...ahem. the lot. Used to listen mostly to my last.fm library, tend to listen to my bought music more now (homg, found J-Pop on the iTunes store. Granted, not exactly much, but Hikaru Utada, ayaka and Ayumi Hamasaki are all there, which will keep me going for a fair while)

Yeah I'm not that happy with Last.fm's service because it's really unreliable. Sometimes everything stops scrobbling for no reason. Right now some of my songs are being scrobbled twice in a row. I have no clue why. It's probably because I'm not using Windows and the official Audioscrobbler application.
The audioscrobbler app annoys me, it randomly skips beats when you're streaming using it. But the web one annoys me more because it doesn't work for me properly. Have to hammer refresh a fair few times before it wakes up and decides to start buffering xD

Ok, I already use Spotify and Finetune and 'other music sources'. I can never be bothered to knock up playlists for the masses, tho. Am I right in thinking that this scrobblethingy does it for you? Huh? Sell it to me!
@Machu Last.fm is kind of like Pandora, except MUCH more involved. You play music in your library, and the "scrobbler" sends the playcounts to last.fm, which tallies your plays, suggests other artists, and creates playlists based on the artists you like, and those similar to them.
I disabled the Last.fm application on my laptop because I got annoyed when it opened every time I plugged my iPod in. Mostly just use it nowadays to listen over XBL.
I didn't import my listening history as it'll give me good reason to go through my library and listen to everything I like. But yeah, seems quite cool, I'll add you all now.
edit: ok how the eff do i add ppl? D: I'm hitting the thing and it's doing nowt.

Hm. So that's what Last.fm is. I'm gonna go sign up. Free, right?
The Game.
Is it after 9PM EST? You should probably ignore the above post.
