Anyone noticed that there aren't a lot of horror movie based games? I mean they put out a game based on every major movie released these days, but horror film games are almost nonexistent. It would be great if they could make more Friday the 13th, Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween games or even ones based on classic horror films such as Terror Train or Psycho. I don't think licensing or the fact these movies are old is a legitimate excuse since they been releasing Agatha Christie games based on old classics. Anyway, the horror genre is overlooked in the video game world and these horror films deserves another chance in today's game market.
lol Psycho? Umm how would a game like that work? Stabbing people in the shower probably wouldn't go over that well. You could make it manhunt style, but I could see soccer moms all over this one.
Horror movies where popular for a while, but seem to me at least to have gone out of fashion, excessive ammount of sequels no doubt didn't help matters either.
Yeah that's a good point, I know its not a horror film but I hope one day they would release Alein 3!!!!!
Hate to break it to you, but there is an Alien 3, and an Alien 4 (Alien Resurrection). Anyway, there are a lot of horror movies that just wouldn't translate to a video game very well.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.

If I was told that I could live in either a truly peaceful world or a world where Alien 3 and Resurrection never existed... I'd probably still choose the world without those two crap sequels.
Yeah, I enjoyed all the Alien movies. Also, I don't know if you realized it, but there is a Saw video game

To be fair, I never saw Scream 2 and 3. But watching Scream 1 the other night, I almost felt ashamed for ever liking it in the first place. I did like it when it first came out in '98. Or maybe it was '97...
David Arquette and Courteney Cox (now Cox Arquette) fell in love on the set of Scream and married soon after.
I know, I love the friends episode where they forgot to change her name, then in the next episode they put Arquette after their names.

Most people today laughs at freddy, jason and especially chuckie, mostly because their "horror" movies turned more and more and much more comical and perverted with the time... Not to mention that theyre very outdated, and updating them would kill their long lost charm.
Chuckie and freddy used to be my ultimate nightmares when i was 6, though.
