It made me realize that offline 4 player games with people in the same living room, no matter the age (we had 5 people actually: 18, 27, 12, 11, and 15 years old) is the best dang experience in gaming. Online is good but tonight reminded me that dang...a good time offline with all the 4 controllers is the best time someone can ever have with video games. So many laughs, sometimes tension with the guy sitting beside you who's killed you 4 times in a row mercilessly, and the feelings of being amongst a group sharing your enjoyment, seriously a memorable time as of late.
If your friend kills you four times in a row, you can beat his ass for it. You can't beat up some smart mouth prick across the country for killing you. Few things in life are better than ordering a couple pizzas and staying up all night playing games with friends. I'll take that over going bar hopping any day.
