Forget the fact that the Saturn was hard to program for, this advertisement is probably what doomed the Sega Saturn!
And I made it to the end in one sitting. I actually kind of liked it. Then again, I'm a little crazy, so I might not be the first person you want to get opinions from.
Also, I'm kinda surprised Sega made it through the entire ad without jabbing at Nintendo or Sony

I'm pretty okay.

Ahhhhhh...

I finally understand why the Saturn failed.

I actually got some kind weird sense of enjoyment out of the "Theatre of the Eye" segments.

But the part before that, I don't know. "Rich, creamy 3-D graphics." Good luck with that, SEGA.

I wouldn't be so sure. That muscle man was Segata Sanshiro, a fictional character who broke N64 cartridges with his forehead and beat people who didn't play Sega Saturn. (the actual article says "punish", but I'm going to assume he doesn't just give them a Chinese burn.).

He "expired" in a missile strike on the Sega Tokyo building suggested to have been launched by Sony and Nintendo.

...and they wonder why the didn't sell units...

Speaking of Segata Sanshiro, they should have just used his commercials. If I had heard his epic theme song on T.V. as a child I probably would have persuaded (read: forced) my parents to buy a Saturn the next day.

I swear, they were on drugs when they made these Saturn adverts.
