I don't own a PSP yet. I am still currently trying to decided what version will be best for me. This move by Sony does push my decision more toward the 3000 model more than the Go. I was hoping for some type of program for converting the existing UMD games onto the Go but since Sony has decided against this I may have to pass on the Go after all.
I'm the owner of a PSP for four years, and I'm proud of it. Though I have to admit, some of these comments are silly. I'm not going to go trading my PSP for an upgraded one.
You should get the one you want. Take a look at all the pros and cons of each and make your decision. They're both good systems. And if the lack of a UMD drive is a problem for you, go with the 3000. I am about to list every one of my 57 PSP games on ebay and I'll use that money to recoup some of the downloadable versions.
And SuperSonic, I was just messing with you. I knew what you meant.
people are still gonna buy it bc they can say "look i got a ripoff psp while ur enjoying ur dsi that actually is worth buying" dsi- meaning "i get it" pspgo-meaning "NO"
Right, because any system that doesn't appeal to your tastes in gaming isn't worth buying for anyone.
DSi has been pretty much a waste of money as far as I'm concerned. I loved the Art Style games for about a month, but those get old quickly and then the novelty is gone. Might as well have stuck with the old DS, or just not gotten one at all. My only lingering satisfaction is from Shiren the Wanderer, which will be on Wii next year anyway. ... well, that, and I use it for music in my car because my CD player broke, but that's definitely not why I bought it, and it's hardly an elegant solution.

Didn't you just buy a Miley Cyrus pink PSP? Now you're going to sell all your games for it?
I like Destructoid, they update a lot and have funny videos, and the photos they use with the articles are awesomely RANDOM. I don't take MOST of their articles seriously though. I read their opinions, but I have my own.
Somebody set up us the bomb. Wii: 8703 7486 8875 3789 I love PWN3NG NintendoLife members on Tatsunoko :-)
