Topic: It's "addictive", not "addicting"

I have a background in linguistics and I know that language changes all the time and if a word is understood, then it becomes correct, but I can't help myself from just wanting to say that it's "addictive", not "addicting".

While I'm here, it's "better than", not "better then" or "better that" when used as a comparative.

I know it doesn't really matter.

Yes, grammar pendantry can be rather addicting.
