"everything" cannot be a computer simulation, unless it's a computer simulation of itself (what) but "everything" could very well include a place where there is a computer, in which a game is being played, in which we are the characters. the question would be, who are the players, and why they would be playing. maybe they're bored.

Ark_Sin	29. Posted: Wed 13th Mar 2013 20:46 GMT If I may revive this thread, I would like to redirect your attention to this short story (written by Isaac Asimov) called The Last Question. I am not going to spoil the ending, but this short story alone made this theory 1000 times more terrifying.

BUT they are finding out a way to bring dead people back to life! But anyway, if this is true, which I'm not saying it is or is not, then it wouldn't be a coincidence that we also have computers. If someone went out of their way to make a whole virtual universe, of course they would add computers. But since we only made computers fairly recently, maybe they want us to slowly catch on to them...?
