@Chrono Cross - You should post more. You have good taste in games.
@StarBoi - Never thought of thought of that, good point. Kudos to luigirules for digging through countless pages to fijnd what he wants to discuss I guess.
On Topic: They aren't anymore evil than any other coorpiration really. Make $dollas. That's their goal, that's a lot peoples goal so..... If you don't like thier practices don't go there.
Yes.... an' no. Terrible trade-ins, but i preordered Soul silver, $5, figurine and they are going to give me a Poster and a large version of the box. sweet? But yea, your bunny figure is... funny but he doesn't draw away from the fact of your sucky trade-ins.
It depends which employees are working at the time you come in.
Funny story: I tried to return a defective Guitar Hero controller to Gamestop a few weeks ago. The employee that was working at the time told me that it was against store policy for me to get a refund for it, even though the reciept clearly said that I had 30 days to return it, and I was well under the limit.
I went in a few hours later, and there was a different employee. He gave me a full refund. There's something seriously wrong with the management of that store. The employees can make all the decisions based on if they are feeling generous, or hostile. Nowadays, I just go there if I get a gift card, like Peterifico.
If you think New Super Mario Bros. Wii is hard, try Super Mario Bros. 3.

Yes and no. On one hand, they're the wrong place to go if you want to get a good price for any of your game stuff. Luckily, it goes both ways: I always look through the used game rack when I'm there and often land some sweet bargains. So far, they've let go of Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg for $9.99, Drill Dozer for $7.99, Jak & Daxter for $4.99, and Gunstar Super Heroes and Viewtiful Joe for $2.99 each. Suckers!
naw there not evil unless you try to trade in newly use game. Thats when that show there horns. Best deal i get from there was a used under a month old copy of Chinatown wars(ds) and a used copy of Mario kart ds both for right at 50 dollars.(after I used my 10% savings card) Have not been there lately.....need new points card so i'll be back sometime......
Once I went into the backroom of a Gamestop store. Dracula was there, and he was sucking the blood of the innocents.
So my answer is yes.
I originally thought you said "Bathroom" so it was an O.O moment for me.
I sometimes buy new releases at Gamestop if they have an awesome preorder bonus. Occasionally they have really good prices, like I got "MySims Agents" for $20 (whether you think its worth that much is subjective) and my Animal Crossing strategy guide for $10. And Street Fighter IV for $20 (it was listed as new, but it wasn't sealed).
For a gamer, I would get them a Gamestop gift card, because it seems more personal than giving an Amazon gift card (even if Amazon has better prices) and Gamestops are everywhere. So its basically the convenience that they are so popular.
