Topic: iPod Touch or iPhone?

I'm (hopefully) going to get either of these soon but which should I get?
The iPhone is more expensive than the iPod Touch but on the otherhand has a camera and the ability to ring people.

I'd go with the iPhone 4 if you have AT&T, HTC Evo 4G if you have Sprint, one of the Android phones if you have Verizon or whoever, and an iPod Touch as a last resort. That is if you can afford them.

If you are willing to pay monthly on ATT, get the iPhone. I personally dont like ATT, so i have an iTouch and am getting an EVo 4g

@Gabe Yeah, I think Evo 4G is the best, especially if you already have Sprint. How can you afford it?

If you don't have a contract already, you should be able to get $200 off a new iPhone w/contract, making it the same price as an equivalent iPod Touch.

I've got an iPod Touch haven't regretted it one bit. One main issue I had with the iPhone (apart from the price point) is battery life, I use my mp3 player alot, atleast 4 hours a day. If I would use it for my phone needs also, wich I also use alot, throw in applications and some photographs here and there and the battery would probably not last long. So you've got to consider what kind of usage its going to get and how big of a point battery life is, if you're okay with recharging everyday then it probably is no issue.

My iPod Touch lasts 2 to 3 days on a full battery, sometimes even 5 when I use it less, sometimes even longer than that. If you don't mind having two devices with you, one for calling and one for music etc. then you probably want to get an iTouch, if you want an all-in-one you need to get an iPhone (or a different brand )

Ive had this crappy phone for so long, in 20 days I get 400 dollars off from the normal retail price of 600 bucks. (Cell phone prices that are advertised are only true if you get it with a new contract. The real price is much higher)

Well...you could buy an ipod touch then tape a cheap phone to the back of it'! One iPhone!
