Topic: iPod Help Plz...

I received an iPod Touch Touch for Christmas this year and my sister received an iPod Nano and we're in a need of a little bit of help before we activate them.

I was reading the back of the packing on the two iPods and there is a note that stated that a credit card might or might not be required during the activation process. I simply wanted to clarify with those of you who might have already gotten an if a credit is needed or not? I don't have a credit card and I don't really want one. So could you guys help me out on this one plz? Is there a way to activate it without a credit card?

They are the same exact things as iTunes giftcards. They should work.

Oh, Swiket here is an App Store Card. BTW where do you live? They might not have them if you're in a different county yet as they just recently came out here in the United States. I'd never seen one until I went to GameStop.

You don't need a credit card to create an iTunes Store account, you can buy off the store (apps, music and film) just using iTunes cards and App Store cards. I don't have a credit card tied to my account, I only use gift cards. When you go to create an account, leave all the credit card section blank, and fill in the gift card code field at the bottom. Ignore anything it says about 'required fields' in the credit card section, you can still continue without filling them.
