Their framerate point was completely dumb, since real-life film footage obviously comes equipped with realistic motion blur that eliminates the need for a higher framerate. Some modern games try to replicate motion blur but it never manages to be very convincing and in most cases ends up making the game look worse. I don't refuse to play games that run at 30 fps but a game running at 60 is always significantly more enjoyable than a game running at 30. When I play PC games I turn down the resolution and unnecessary graphical effects as much as necessary to ensure that they run at 60 fps at all times.
Ironic for a game review site, which is usually the birthplace of most of the arguments that they touch on (the actual site, NOT the comments/forums).
