Topic: Inkling's Fantabulous Game - Coming to Wii U (maybe)

The games are actually still in pretty early development.

I just hope the concept behind "Prime" goes down well otherwise...well I'll be out of ideas. Or I would scrape at the barrel some more.

Also, on March 15th 2015, I will be announcing the final name for Project Dash, alongside more info...

@Inkling Nope. Just how I am referring to it. The game itself will be a neat throwback to a classic game. Back when a series was in it's "Prime". The final name...you got me there. But hey, I'm just one guy, chances of this actually being made are...I don't think there is a number that low XD So don't get your hopes up

I'm guessing it's a throwback to Metroid...?

Not a dumb question at all. There's a possibility it will come to Wii U, but that comes down to whether I launch a Kickstarter, and if that succeeds.

I will certainly keep an eye out for it :3 3D platformer or 2D, if I'm not being too nosy?

Oh. Sorry, no 3DS version, as it doesn't support Construct 2 or Unity, the two engines I'm using to make these games.

Plus, the advertising rule applies to YouTube videos, etc. This is a game that could potentially come to Wii U.

Introducing Pixel Dash! This is the smaller half of the project, with the more ambitious project coming next year. It follows a minimalist style, with 8-bit looking characters and backdrops. If you'd like to contribute to the game with chiptunes, art, criticism/tips or character ideas, feel free to do that! Artwork is below!

PLEASE NOTE: This game is in pre-alpha. All art, sprites, logos etc are subject to change. The characters currently shown may only be placeholders. The final game shall look much different. Platforms will be announced later on.

Did you check for games with the same name? because well... it wouldn't be the first game named Pixel Dash

Anyway the sprites look great. They remind me of the number 8, but with legs and eyes

I've checked. The sprites are placeholders, with the final characters coming soon. Who knows, maybe a few surprise characters will make a cameo (probably not)

Can't help but think of microtransactions and Android/iOS devices with Dash in the name. Looks good though. Have fun, and I hope it does well.
