Topic: Imported Games Thread

I decided to make a thread where you can talk about what games and systems you have imported from other countries since I couldn't find any recent ones.(I think there was one, but the last post was a few years ago)

I purchased a 3DS, Monster Hunter Tri G, Pokémon White 2 and Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem(Shin Monshou no Nazo) when I was on exchange there and I visited again a year later and bought Monster Hunter 4, Pokémon Y and a Wii U. Also some Japanese games I've downloaded are Ace Attorney Trilogy (coming in December to NA I think), Fire Emblem: Gaiden, Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War, Fire Emblem: Thracia 776, Fire Emblem(When will this come to NA? ) and Fatal Frame V.

The only games I imported are Senran Kagura: Shoujotachi no Shinei (3DS) and Tales of Graces (Wii), though I plan on getting A LOT more in the near future.
Consoles, on the other hand, aren't a thing I like to import just like that. I was close to getting a japanese 2DS and WiiU, but decided against it. Now I'm waiting for the black N3DS to release in Australia.

I have: Metal Max 2: Reloaded, Metal Max 3, 5 different Super Robot Taisen games across various platforms, EX Troopers for PS3, and Gundam Extreme VS Fullboost for PS3. Up next: Gundam Breaker for Vita, followed by Jump VS for PS3 or Vita, whichever's cheaper.

Oh, I was thinking of getting E.X. Troopers since I enjoyed the 3DS demo. Is it pretty good?

I didn't play much of it, but it's stylish and fun in short bursts. I got it cheap ($40, which is cheap for Play-Asia), and I would recommend it for around that price.

I've never imported a game before, but once when I went to K-Mart, I noticed they had a PAL territory DS game in the bargain bin (even had a PEGI rating instead of an ESRB rating).

It has been pretty expensive though haha. Roughly $300 for the Wii U, I also got Mario Kart 8 on it for the promotion(already had all 4 games NA offered) which allowed me to download 2 games and play them for a month then buy them %40 off. I ended up buying Wonderful 101 after and the price was still more expensive than the NA one... And Fatal Frame was roughly $88 at the time...
However I have enjoyed it quite a bit, the gamepad controls are pretty fun. One time I was surrounded by ghosts and was standing up so I could spin around in 360 degrees and accidentally ran into my couch haha.

Hmm, the price on the 3DS eShop goes up to roughly $50... I will take a look at the PSN store and see if it is cheaper. I've never really imported any games online before, but I guess I may take a look at that website too.

@RR529 That's interesting, are people allowed to bring in used games to K-Marts? Also did you end up picking that game up? (probably not I'm guessing?)

@yokokazuo, yeah, I didn't buy it. I think it was some sort of sports minigame collection.

And no, K-Mart doesn't take in used games, so I'm not really sure how it got there, lol.

Necro thread! Has anyone played Tact of Magic for the Wii? I'm thinking about picking it up but I'm wondering about the gameplay.
