Obviously I was joking. You think I'd seriously be that biased if I've been checking IGN for 2 years and I only joined nintendolife maybe 2 months ago?

Just let it happen.

Obviously you were joking, since sarcasm just translates so well over the internet. And the fact that you've already shown on multiple accounts that you have a higher opinion of Nintendo Life than IGN couldn't possibly cause any amount of confusion now would it?:rolls-eyes:

Just because I like Nintendolife more doesn't mean I think it's perfect.
I can name problems with both sites, and as I said before, I WAS JOKING.

Just let it happen.

Then next time do a better job of making your jokes more obvious. For instance, you can italicize or put in bold things that want to emphasize, such a logical impossiblities, or parts of a sentence that have a hidden meaning, which would help those reading your comments will have a better chance of knowing that what you say is not what you really mean. You could also use emotes, such as "" to represent that the statement you just made was not meant to be taken seriously. Or you could just outright say it was a joke(j/k), or it you were sarcastic(/sarcasm), instead of simply assuming that those reading it will be able to figure it out.

How was I supposed to know your post was a joke? It seemed serious enough to me, and it is not outside the realm of impossibility for one to be so biased towards something to actually be blind to its faults. I've seen it many times, and I've experienced it myself. Based on my previous knowledge and the lack of any indication of any humor or sarcasm, I had no reason not to assume you were serious. Also, you shouldn't assume people know you like the back of their hand. I'm not your friend. I don't know you personally. I don't know your posting habits that well, there's no quick and easy option on this site to view every post a person has ever written, and I certainly don't care enough about you to look through a bunch of different thread just to make sure whether or not you were serious in a single post where every available indication said you were. How was I supposed to know you had been here for two months and on IGN for 2 years? For all I know, you could've been here since this site's creation, and you could've gone to IGN twice in your entire lifetime. All I know are the comments you've written in this thread, and whatever vague recollection I may have of your posts in other threads.

I'm sorry if I come off as condicending, which I very well know I do. You just struck a major nerve with me there. What's worse is that this whole situation could've been solved with something a simple as two letters being added to your original post. Please try to be more clear the next time you try to make a joke, instead of assuming people know everything that you know. Inside jokes are the best material to use in a stand-up act, you know?

Well, I'm sorry it struck your nerve.
Out of curiosity, if you "don't care" about me, why would you take the time to write 3 paragraphs explaining why I told a bad joke?

Just let it happen.

@TBD hey, I was trying to stay on topic.
Anyways my opinion stays the same: good website, some bad journalists, mostly bad community.
And I still agree completely with Warios Woods.

Just let it happen.

Finally I get a chance to use that!

And holy crap, lets here it for early reviews folks! I just read IGN's review of Desperate Struggles, and it just topped my most wanted list!(well, not quite topped - I still want Bayonnetta and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom more)

I really like IGN. I think their podcast is great, and their reviews are usually pretty spot on. Recently they've gotten a little cynical, but hey, so have most people.

I've said before that I have no love for IGN but I still go there and read the reviews. I usually disagree with them, but I like the style that they (usually) present them in. I think they are biased, but so is every other site that reviews or discusses anything, including this site. I'm biased and freely admit it but that doesn't mean my opinion is worthless (unless it's about a FPS, I rate them all a 1 ).
My only negative thing to say about them is how they have begun splitting things up just to increase page views. To me that's like a store putting out 6 Snickers out of a case of 24 so they artificially increase the value of the 6.

I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
