Lets get something clear here: I hope everyone else will join me in reporting every single post that attacks IGN. God only knows there's enough of them. I don't want this thread closed, I want this thread clean.
I like IGN. For the most part I actually find the reviews quite fair - the scores might irritate people, but the content of the reviews themselves tend to be well balanced and quite articulate.
Ignoring the community, the features are generally good fun to read, and most worthwhile news ends up on the site - so overall it is a daily stop for me.
I thought there was already a thread for this? Well anyways, I have nothing against this thread [I personally don't use IGN much], but doesn't it seem sort of weird to post a fan thread for IGN on a competing website? Well, maybe not competing, but hopefully you get my point
Just let it happen.

I'd thought I'd never see the day when a thread called "IGN Fan Thread" would appear on this site.
I, for one, actually enjoy IGN. Their reviews are quite fair for all platforms, and they have a lot of good coverage. Sure, they may seem prejudiced towards Nintendo on occaisions, with the constant "Nintendo doesn't care about hardcore gamers anymore" articles, the community sucks, and their Retro section was kind of a joke (How much Sega worship can you fit in one section!?), but the site isn't nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be.
I enjoy their reviews. I think Lucas Thomas does a very good job with his reviews. I really enjoyed the Nintendo Voice chat when Mark, Matt and Craig were together.

Uh, don't spam the mods.
Anyway, I still like IGN, I listen to a few of their podcasts and check their site multiple times a week. For the most part I think their reviews are spot-on, although occasionally they do seem to go off the rails.
I do not use the boards. But I go there throughout the day to check on news and reviews. I have been doing so regularly since 1999 and I have no intentions on stopping. I agree with a lot of the reviews. The video streaming is fast for game videos and the pictures are of high quality. I know some people get upset over some of the recent articles. But to me the site over at IGN still offers a lot more than most entertainment and gaming sites on the internet.
I enjoy the Podcasts Nintendo voice chat and Tech fetish to be exact. IGN is werid as i go thier for alot of other non gaming news like Movies, comics, and tech instead of going to specialty sites.
WAT!

I've always enjoyed IGN. I seldom even pay any attention to the community there, however. I just check in on reviews after I've written my own to see how they compare.
One thing I like about IGN is that they do more VC reviews than Gamespot does. One thing I don't understand though is why so many people on this site hate IGN.

that said, i don't really care about IGN one way or the other. they're just another site with another set of writers, each with their own personal opinions. big deal.

I never really used IGN... I do use Gamespot on occasion. I like how they have community reviews for anyone to write, so you get different opinions.

I used to go there a lot, but after a while I decided to cut myself off. I still go there every one and a while to see what's up with the HD consoles, maybe check out some reviews of games I've been interested in, etc. Every once in a while I'll run into an article that catches my fancy or I'll hear some huge announcement.
Heh, you know, I actually like the Nintendo staff over there, btw. They're far less critical than some of the Xbox or Sony staff, which I find rather important. They'll still mention problems of course, but they won't always make it sound like it'll ruin the experience for everyone who plays it.
Lately I've been somewhat annoyed with their Nintendo bashing editorials, so I've been frequenting it less. I do like some of their reviews and I go there occasionally for news.
