@StarBoy: really?! i loved that book. maybe the world in it sucked, but the message, and the prose is excellent. Orwell is a fantastic writer in my opinion.

It's just I never really liked that novel. It seemed all so depressing and dark and all that. Not to mention, being watched from behind your shoulder constantly is not a good idea of good utopia. It's just sad, that's all. But, that's just my opinion, and I'm sorry I came out strong like that.

Well Mario was on ATARI before the NES. And possibly other systems before that in Donkey Kong. So if he would of failed that far early on would he have made it to the NES ? Not sure to be honest as I was a little kid back then and do not remember all the oldies but goodies. But you bring up a valid point would gaming be where it is without the Mario character ? I doubt it would be as big as it is today as it sucked millions in that normally would not have been interested in video games. Thats my opinion and its not based on facts.

Keystone Kapers is still fun, and Yars' Revenge. As well as Laser Blast, and Pressure Chef, and those other Atari games I played on the GBA through compilations.

Randoms is right, let us focus on the thread. The world would turn into something from 1984. And that novel sucks!!!
I didn't want to argue more....but....but.... you really think that of 1984?........It's....It's...one of my favorite books ever... ;_____;
78. Posted: Sun 1st Nov 2009 15:05 GMT
Again, I'm sorry I came out strong like that. It's just I never really liked 1984 so much. I probably shouldn't have said anything.

It's just I don't want to start any argument that's all. But I had only felt like mentioning it 'cause, well, if there were no Mario Bros. I'm sorry. I apologoize to anyone that was affected in a negative way.In relevant news: If there were no Mario Bros., there would be no Chrono Trigger!
