I think it's just a joke bro2dragons. I wouldn't think much of it
well, it is now. at one point it wasn't. conspiracy theorists will use anything. thing is sometimes it makes sense. sometimes (in Mario's case) it doesn't, and i just don't get what they were thinking. too many 1-UP shrooms in the pipe?

Yeah! Space Invaders and Pong, anyone? Fancy a game of Jr. Pac-Man, Pole Position, Dig Dug, or Asteroids? Of course, this is 1983 terms we're talking about here.
Mario was the reason the video game crash ended. If it DIDN'T end, then they wouldn't really exist anymore, I mean if nobody made anymore games, then of course, they really wouldn't exist.
First the Revolutionary War would start all over again, then after that giant robot narwhals (?) would come to America and kill us all, and finally once the human race is extinct, rubber chickens would take over the planet!
Man, do I need to get myself in a creative-writing class or what?
Superman, if you ever want to debate with somebody maturely, hit one of the two links in my signature and come talk with me. i really have no problem with your opinions. at all. i just think you could be a little more respectful in your stating of them. but let's not make the mods come do clean-up duty again. this is not the place for off-topic discussion. if you'd like, you can start a topic about it, or you can speak with me via facebook, or in the chat, or i can give you my email. otherwise, let's ALL please drop it.
@StarBoy: really?! i loved that book. maybe the world in it sucked, but the message, and the prose is excellent. Orwell is a fantastic writer in my opinion.
It's just I never really liked that novel. It seemed all so depressing and dark and all that. Not to mention, being watched from behind your shoulder constantly is not a good idea of good utopia. It's just sad, that's all. But, that's just my opinion, and I'm sorry I came out strong like that.
Well Mario was on ATARI before the NES. And possibly other systems before that in Donkey Kong. So if he would of failed that far early on would he have made it to the NES ? Not sure to be honest as I was a little kid back then and do not remember all the oldies but goodies. But you bring up a valid point would gaming be where it is without the Mario character ? I doubt it would be as big as it is today as it sucked millions in that normally would not have been interested in video games. Thats my opinion and its not based on facts.
