Topic: I really hope Nintendo decides to put out physical prizes on Club Nintendo again...

I just recently joined Club Nintendo because I'm a action figure collector. Mainly Mario Bros. and Ninja Turtle figures. I had heard about these cool figures that Club Nintendo had released and wanted to get in on it. To my surprise though I'd recently seen that Nintendo is only giving away game downloads for Elite Status members now. Kind of a buzzkill. I missed the boat on the Luigi's Mansion figure. That thing is awesome but I'll have a hard time paying what they want for them on eBay.

Ya, you missed out on the Luigi's manions figure, this was a platinum reward on the second year

It came with a random box box, but Japan got it now as a prize you can buy and it's improved by a plastic case and some words.


Were both figures that were not at the NA CN.

Yeah, the one with all the characters is super cool! Not a big fan of the other two though. I'm gonna end up buying that Luigi figure though for sure.

I prefer the games, honestly.

I want them to put retail titles as rewards for you to strive for, like one retail title for 800 coins so you have an incentive to accumulate coins

If you're in America, I doubt we'll be seeing anything as cool as figures ever again. Lately Nintendo of America has just gotten extremely lazy.

I don't know about retail games but the old game & watch collection games were 800 coins, I would like it if they could release the collection on eShop...

With the new 3DS coming out, I wonder if they will make a exclusive custom part or will they made a exclusive digital theme for the upcoming update in October.
