[16:43] James: I should learn these site rules more clearly
[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
This isn't an RPG in the truest sense but If you like Dragon Quest, you should try out Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors. It's quite short for a Dragon Quest game but it's pretty fun and a great game. It's a Wii retail release but I've seen it going really cheap lately even as a brand new copy of the game.
mario and luigi superstar saga. i dont care if its not on vc or wiiware but if u skip out on this one ur skipping out on the greatest game known to all life
Super Mario RPG or Secret of Mana.. knock yourself out.. =)
There he goes, Firkraag. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die. - My VGscore
Depends. If you said turn-based RPG, I'd recommend starting with Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars. Now, if you said action-oriented RPG, then I recommend The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Both games are top-shelf titles, and some of the best ever made.
Okay, I'm in Bend right now. Any good new DS RPGs that are out right now that I might run into?
Disgaea DS, best one there is. And if you wanted too it has infinite replay value.

Chrono Trigger! Incidentally, I played Chrono Trigger for the first time on the DS in 2008. The fact that it has 13/15 endings, and a huge sprawling quest give it tons of replay value!!!
Playing Opoona here for the Wii, and it's pretty interesting. Plus the price ($10.00 at Gamestop) places it above similarly-priced WiiWare and VC games. Check out Monster Lab too.
Currently playing: Gunstar Super Heroes (GBA), Infinite Space (NDS)

@Thomas Joseph Well, I was going to say Opoona earlier, but it seemed this thread took a turn to DS, and I don't own a DS. But I think even without saying, it's fairly clear as to my suggestion.
Well I reccomend Super Mario RPG of Shinning Force. If your looking for a long good and a pretty difficult RPG, get Shinning Force! If your looking for a calm and funny RPG go with Mario RPG. I hate to interupt, but I need to see what I need to get with 800 points I currently have! Secret of Mana, Ys Books 1 and 2, or Contra III! Please help on that!
