I miss James too. Before last E3, he gave me some snack tips, and introduced me to chocolate chip waffles. Much better than I expected.

I'm with you here, James was certainly a brilliant fellow. I think it's a little mean-spirited to say that the site's not the same without him though - all the writers and editors have put in a lot of work to make sure the contributions and community are up to standard, and so it's still one of the nicer places on the internet
You have a point, but things have still changed - some for the better, some for the worse, and some things are just different. There's no denying that, but there's also nothing we can do about it. Personally, I've just grown to accept how things are now.
That still doesn't change the fact that I miss James, too, though...
I still like the site for what it is, but James really was the best Sega fan I ever met. I do hope, wherever he is in Germany, that he's spreading the Sega love t his Nintendo coworkers.
Yeah, its felt like he's been gone a lot longer than several months

We all miss him. This site's still plenty good, it just not as full of excitement. Around E3 it will hopefully get a jump and return get closer to how this place was. @Damo is getting better at writing still so it can only get better.

Yes, I do know that. What I meant was that he is still progressively getting better. The lack of major news has also contributed to the difference in this site.

I wasn't that big a SEGA fan, so I don't relate to him as much as others would, but I feel he was the most active and outgoing staff member on the site.
James... He's the reason I wanted to join the site. The sense of community was really tangible back then. I won't complain about the site now versus then, though. It's different but still good. I just notice a lot more Nintendo doomsday articles nowadays.

Lets not forget Corbs(Easily my favorite NL'er!), he may be still with the site. But during the past i don't know how many years now it seems like he has completely vanished. I haven't seen him post in any of the forums or Articles in a longggg long time.
He's hiding in the credits of 3ds e-shop games.
