Turtles are awesome. I have a three-toed box turtle in my room (the state reptile of Missouri). I took a herpetology class last semester and it was awesome. There are so many different kinds of turtles.

I think we should create an advanced race of turtle people. Just in case they end up enslaving the human race, we'll need to have an army of Italian plumbers on standby.
^ Unfortunately turtles are on the decline, with habitat loss and climate change. Poor turtles. There's this one giant tortoise they call Lonesome George because he is over a hundred years old and the last of his species. He has no woman friend.
