Every single game ever made could be better if the devs "had the time." It's a 2D Mario game, what else do you expect from the graphics? If you are talking from a pure art style standpoint, I could agree with you. But that would have nothing to do with it being rushed, it would just be a poor design decision. Online would probably take away from the experience; if you want more on that, this is good reading. And presumably a 2D game would take up less space on a disc than a 3D game would. NSMB Wii has about the same amount of content as Galaxy, imo. Any other points of yours I forgot to shoot down?
You have a point in there. but it has not the same amount of content. maybe replay value, but not content. you forgot about the "extras" part idk what should be added, maybe some more enemies or more music, or even levels. SMB3 has more levels than this game i think.
Wiiero de Argentina. PM para intercambiar wii codes :D
Lets let this thread die, please. It's just too ridiculous. Even if a group of deranged ex-Nintendo fans burnt all the Nintendo headquarters to the ground--which absolutely mental, by the way--, it wouldn't matter. All those buildings are insured, no doubt. They would lose no money. And even if, god forbid, Miyamoto and Iwata died or something, it wouldn't kill Nintendo. The spirit of of Nintendo would live on, and they have plenty of talented people at the company that would be able to take over.

2. You saying that you blame the Nintendo Fans and its their fault lets me know you are (a) young (b) don't understand buisness
3. Nintendo as a company jumped full face into the Casual Market with the games on the Wii, not the Wii as a Console. Honestly with WiiWare/DSiWare you have the best, cheap medium for pure/inexpensive Hardcore gaming available on the market, but its barely been used for it.
4. If Nintendo suffers in the next console generation for abandoning their core fanbase for fast/easy money catering to casual gamers, because the core gamers went other places for what they love to do in their freetime......... GAMING. Then its Nintendos own fault for the Buisness decisions they have made.
5. As a Core Gamer and Long Time Nintendo Fan I had to go to another console to support my love of gaming as there wasn't enough on the system to keep me playing, and the downturned economy had me selling my Wii to afford a HD system. NOT my fault, that would land on the company for not supporting its system with a decent flow of game releases.
6. LET THIS TREAD DIE NOW!

@Adam: i just checked, out of curiosity... SMB3 has 57 normal, numbered levels, but when you include the crazy sun level, the pyramid, the tower in world 5, the flying koopaling ships, the 8 normal fortresses and 5 second-fortresses (in certain worlds), and then the un-numbered obstacles in world 8 (the tanks, ships, and flying airships, as well as the three 'hand' levels), the number comes to 86 levels total. Before world 9, NSMBW has 69 levels (including fortresses and airships, if the gamespot guide is to be believed), but including world 9, NSMBW has 77 levels total. it certainly feels longer than SMB3, though, because you can't just run-run-run through NSMBW levels without winding up dead the way you can most of SMB3's levels, lol, and there's so much more going on to deal with than in SMB3. :3

Nintendo might have lost some fans, but they gained a whole bunch of new ones. If the sales of NSMBW prove anything, people are not getting rid of their nintendo anytime soon.

Let's also not forget Super Mario Galaxy 2, Metroid:Other M, and Zelda Wii. The Wii's libary of games is getting better and better.
Bah, I remember some article in 'Edge' predicting the end of Nintendo before the DS came out. I like the Wii, and I used to consider myself a pretty hardcore gamer - that is, going to the trouble of importing stuff for my Japanese Saturn. It seems these days some people think its 'Hardcore' to march in droves to the biggest high street retailer and purchase the next block buster game that everyone else is playing... times have changed. I don't really care about labels now though, I like the Wii as there are a lot of fun games I can play on it. With the new revenues offered by downloads I really dont think Nintendo are about to disappear.
I don't think it's possible, nintendo is swimming in money. A whole bunch of lowlife "hardcore" gamers (some of which are even on this site) aren't gonna stop nintendo.

By your screenname I would have never thought you were a hardcore...... just playing, Ristar rocks. I know how you feel about the label thing. But you know what, I used to play games until my thumbs had the skin peeling off tryin to beat levels in Ninja Gaidens/Battletoads, etc. Im sticking to my Hardcore Label. Ive earned it. ...................... As for the Nintendo Download services, well the sales of the games is Not very great at all. Nintendo isn't goin anywhere anytime soon.
