Topic: I got a pat down at an airport on Nov. 30th

What caused the pat down was the metal detector went off at the airport and I was pulled out of line as a result. The detector went off because a metal rod was inserted where I fractured my left hip in 1996.

The pat down I got was nothing like the media was portraying what happened to other people. The security officer asked me a question before doing the pat down. The question was if any part of my body would hurt if I get a pat down and I said no. The security officer didn't touch my private area that only a male has.

If any of you ever get a pat down, it shouldn't be something that you should be concerned with despite what the media says based on what happened to me.
