He said "don't like," not "hate," Briun. It may seem like semantics, but there is a significant gap in degree of meaning. One expresses an opinion, and one is closer to an attack as it expresses an emotion, not just an opinion. It's not his fault if some users aren't mature enough to handle such a topic (not pointing at you, but the potential "flame war" you refer to). I'm not saying it's a particularly interesting topic (could use more detail than "boring" and "too hard," for one), but there ain't nothing wrong with it, either.

really i just don't see what else it could be. he seemed to have no purpose in the original post other than to say he didn't like it, and that title was simply out there to make people gasp. i spose i overreacted, but it just kinda irritated me. sorry. at this point, i withdraw myself from the thread.

Well, think of it as a (bad) review. It is interesting to hear why people like or dislike games, and having a minority opinion often leads to more interesting discussions because you hear viewpoints you aren't used to. Of course, his extremely undeveloped original post doesn't really ask for much discussion but simple nodding of agreement or disagreement, but no one would complain if he made the same topic only without the negator, so I see no problem with the way it is, myself, as uncompelling as it is.
