No, you're not and you know you're not. There is not a single person alive who uses this line that isn't just out to call attention on themselves, and maybe get some comforting headpats from other people who feel the same as whatever opinion they happen to express. However, sadly, as hard as you try, I'm sorry to say you're probably not going to get that freshly baked pie, bouquet, and sparkling crown in honor of your attention-yearning attempts to be shocking.

The easiest Zelda is probably A Link to the Past or Minish Cap. If you for some reason thought Twilight Princess was hard, you should try one of those before writing off the whole series. Of course, there's nothing wrong with that if you don't like Zelda. I love the first three, but I couldn't care less about what the series has done since Super Nintendo.

^Link to the Past? Easy? Are you high, good sir? I actually think LttP is one of the harder games in the series, what with the tricky dungeons, tough bosses, and all those soldiers and landmines that kept popping out of cut grass.
Also, when you were mentioning the easiest Zeldas, there's also Phantom Hourglass.

Even though LttP is one of the hardest Zeldas (IMO at least), it's still worth buying. It's difficulty doesn't diminish it's perfection one bit.

I also recommend Link's Awakening and the Oracle series (particularly Ages, since Seasons is quite a toughie).

If you're still not satisfied, well, there's nothing wrong with that. No one's gonna ban you from the forums for disliking a major Nintendo franchise.

I am not high, but thank you for your concern. Maybe the 3D Zeldas are easier, but they are just so long and tiresome that I often get frustrated finding where to go or what to do next. I guess that's not exactly "difficult," just annoying. But if you have played the NES games, LttP is much easier than those, and you'd be the high one to suggest otherwise.

I actually gave up on Phantom Hourglass not only was the castle you keep coming back to a real chore, but I couldn't figure out what to do at one point. But whether Link to the Past is the easiest or not, it is extremely easy and far from the hardest in the series. If you think it's difficult, then you must be forgetting that you can get four bottles and fill them all with either blue potion or fairies and essentially become unbeatable unless you are really bad at the game.

What was the hard part in Twilight Princess, I think I missed the part, seriously it was the easiest Zelda game by far, but I still found it a lot of fun.

Minish Cap was the easiest, then Wind Waker.

I have to say that the only Zelda game I have played through myself is Phantom Hourglass. I'm not too sure why, maybe it's just one of those things where you see a good game series but never joined the bandwagon because you were busy with the smaller guys.

I've decided to take a break from Zelda for a while. Either until I feel like playing Ocarina or until Spirit Tracks comes out!

This is my post, I made a new account, long story, don't wanna tell it. Just wanted to say that I picked the game back up, beat the Water Temple, got freaked out by the Shadow Temple (I know I'm a wuss.), and I'm getting really confused by the Gerudo's Foretress right now.

And @Blaze TP was hard, maybe it's just because I usually play Mario so I'm not used to hard games, but TP was hard!

And @Bill Who is that in your avatar, it's weird looking...

One thing that will help you to know in the Gerudo fortress: you can pick off the guards with arrows. I think I actually played through the entire thing at first not knowing that. And it caused me SERIOUS RAGE.

Shooting the guards makes that section something like 200 times easier.

@ Chicken Brutus: that was the best part of the Gerudo Fortress deal -- picking off the guards from afar. good times.

also, @ Dark Link, Bill's avatar looks like Link in the process of putting on the Zora mask. he makes weird faces whenever he puts on a mask in MM.

I'm not a big fan either but you lost me when you said Twilight Princess was too hard.

While I love the 2-D Zelda games, I've only liked the 3-D titles, with Ocarina being my favorite of the 3-D bunch.

Plain old gamer :)

I don't like the Zelda series either. It's just so boring, I don't see what the big deal is.

I'm not a big fan of Zelda either. That being said, I think Zelda PH is the best Zelda game I've ever played. So captivating not to mention I play online all the time.

I really liked Phantom Hourglass too.

The only knock I have on it is the Ocean Temple. Other than that, it might be the only Zelda game I haven't been somewhat bored while playing.

Unfortunately I can't play online. My DS isn't compatible with my router or something. Not a big deal since Zelda is my only online DS game, but it would be nice to play Zelda online sometime.

Exactly. I completely agree. It's hardly boring at all. Too bad you can't play online. I love it and it's a ton of fun with a friend. One of my favourite online games. It's had me coming back to it constantly.

Oh and I've said this to people before but I'll say it again: Zelda gets WAY too much love. Nintendo, try focusing on more obscure properties and give him a rest already! Captain Olimar, Star Fox, Captain Falcon, Kirby, even DK -- all those guys deserve a new entry a HECKUVA lot more than Zelda does. >_>

Sorry, my man, but Zelda was one of the greatest series Nintendo had. I can understand you not liking Twilight Princess (It was mediocre at best, if you ask me. It had it's moments, that make it ALMOST memorable), even the first Zelda (a lot of people have trouble with old games nowadays), but you didn't like Ocarina of Time, so I won't even suggest playing LttP and the Gameboy games, aside from that statement just now which could be taken as a suggestion. To me, video games simply don't get much better than the N64 Zeldas and Super Mario 64. I'd been playing games for a LONG time, and yet I was completely wowed by those games back then, and I still love them today.

Corbie, you've only "liked" the 3D ones? Ah, the only 3D ones I actually love are the N64 games, after that, yeah, it's pretty much "like" or worse. The NES games (even AoL), LttP, LALADX, and the Oracle games were great. The Four Swords games are fun, but different. Minish Cap is probably the worst 2D Zelda (Unless you count the unholy triforce, which you shouldn't), but it had Human Vaati and his Happy Mask Salesman laugh, and it's still pretty darn good of a game, just not that good of a Zelda. Don't go complaining, this is all just opinions.

Wind Waker was great looking, and pretty fun too, but the new style came at the cost of any semblance to the old style. None of the games have had the same vibe as the games from The Legend of Zelda up to Oracle of AgesSeasons, and I'm not sure it'll ever be the same again. Twilight Princess was a far cry from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Gah, you'd think those two were successors and Twilight Princess was the first 3D Zelda, if it wasn't for being "technically" better looking. Key word there.
