That's one of the smilies I have grown the biggest hate for right after "xD". Used to love them both but some people know how to ruin anything.
On topic, I find it rather annoying when topics are locked in forums. Some moderators (not speaking of this forum) believe they can lock the topics after only scratching only the surface of the topic. For example: there is a question and the answer should be given in the topic. Only a few posts later the topic is closed, concluding with a moderator not really getting the question and giving the wrong or incomplete answer. Now I want to correct the moderator, but I can't because the topic is closed. So I have to send a request of reopening the topic to the moderator and hopefully someday I will be able to give the correct answer. The closed topics above were all fairly unnecessary IMO.
