I think the UK is the best place.
Here in the Netherlands, we have to learn at least Dutch and English and French/German/Greek/Latin (one of those 4).
Dutch would be a stupid language to learn in your situation.

The stuff you can get in the Club Nintendo Shop here in the Netherlands is pretty useless. I always save up my Club Nintendo Stars for Points Cards.

I do exactly the same, I've had around 6000 stars so far and I spent them all on Ninty Points.
