So i got my parents on the phone this evening; they have been without power since 6pm, while mine had flickered a bit but stayed on. Literally right as i said that to my Dad, my power went out. Lol. Thankfully was only out for an hour.

So far, it hasn't been that bad for me on a personal level since i'm just inland enough so that flooding isn't a threat unless The Island is going to sink to the bottom of the ocean (and that only happens in Sideways Universes )

All is good for me on the East Cost. Just a lot of typical mid-late-fall-winter-storm type of activity(rain, moderately steady, but not too high winds). Lost the power momentarily (quite literally), just a few hours ago. Still have power, running water, thank God, above all the other non-essentials, such as internet/tv/etc. My desk light just dimmed momentarily a minute ago. All is well for me, & my family, again thank God! I hope, & pray everyone stays safe during this. I'm sure my family, & I will be fine. Stay Safe everyone!

But its back now. It isn't raining too much where i'm at but its super windy.

I lived the dream today - work was cancelled, but I still had power all day (locals will understand - this is a miracle for Pepco). Did you say 8 hours of playing Zelda? Yes, that's what happened. The wind hasn't been that bad so far where we are (near DC), but the past couple hours it's started to gust recently. We've gotten a couple of power flickers this evening though - so we'll see if I have the same luck tomorrow. The 3DS is charged, but I can't get a full day out of that. Work's already been cancelled, so I'll have to do something.

It is cold and windy in SC. It has been like that since yesterday.

Jeez now it looks like just a normal day.

A lot of my area is out of power, but weirdly enought I never really lost any the whole time. Just so flickering here and there. Lucky me.

It's just raining for now on my end (NY) but they said it suppose to start back up more into the afternoon. Lucky I'm inland so I been unaffected by flood or power loss.

We got some snow flurries here where I live. Thankfully, Virginia missed the brunt of the storm.

Thinkin' about my family and friends up in Jersey, Connecticut, PA, and NYC atm. Hang in there, bros!

Parents are still without power, which is obviously no good ... but my sister and her family live in East Rockaway, which is right on the water, and was seriously flooded. They were staying at my parents' place so they're safe, but they might not be able to get back into their house for some time, depending on how extensive the flooding was. All in all though, plenty of people are far worse off — posessions can be replaced, flooded homes can be repaired. Some people on the Island have had their homes completely destroyed or rendered completely uninhabitable — hopefully my sis's house isn't that bad off, but we shall see as the hours and days pass. Quite frankly, given how it is throughout the county, i'm lucky to even have power — they're saying somehwere close to 90% of people are without right now.

My area got lucky. No severe winds at all, and not much rain either.

Well, some tree's snapped, some went airborn, but I've had much worse.
The worst part was my stupid dogs, they completely lost it. :3
