Topic: How overweight am I?

Posts 1 to 20 of 64

I'm 14 turning 15 next month and I'm 5"11 and 205. How overweight am I? What's healthy weight for my height? And what's up with these stereotypes i'm hearing saying all fat people are mean and sad!? The hell? I'm like the nicest, jolliest person you'll ever meet!

Good to know, but please don't swear - Mod team.

Not really heard the stereotype you mention. I'm underweight, and mean and sad. xD

Just eat a bit less, DO MORE EXERCISE, and stop worrying, mmmkay.

Rawr!

I've always heard that fat people were the HAPPIEST people out there. I'm overweight myself, and I'm almost never mean or sad.

That is all.

@MegaStoneSmash91 I've heard both! I'm the same, I'm usually never mean, I can be but only accidentally, I'm not sad most of the time, sometimes I am but not cause I'm fat

I used to get made fun of for being fat, but nowadays most of the U.S.A. is fat. As long as you don't really act like a fat person (can't climb stairs without getting short of breath, eating constantly, not doing the most simple tasks, etc.) then there should be no reason to ever worry about being overweight, unless it's a medical reason. Those are easy to stay away from, though.

Being overweight is very unhealthy on your body. Just because you can do normal tasks without getting short of breath, while being overweight, does not mean you are healthy. I am overweight, so I know. That weight only makes you feel worse with time my friend.

@MegaStoneSmash91 I got made fun of being fat, but it was just this one kid. I don't mind if my friends call me fat (They know I don't mind and there just messing) but that one kid really blueberried me off. He'd never say stuff outside of class

I didn't say being overweight was healthy, but it's not something people should make fun of. And those who are overweight shouldn't worry about it, I hardly ever do.

@WAM My friends and I joke about my weight too! I actually kind of enjoy poking fun at myself.

@MegaStoneSmash91 Ha yeah I always poke fun at myself also. Although sometimes I can't tell if some of them are actually friends, sometimes I feel like they step over me if you know what I mean

Eat healthy, three times a day, drink water, no soft drinks or coffee, and exercise.
Also, have more protein and have small single servings.

Oh, and wash too.

I don't think that can be emphasised too much on a gaming website

According to this Body Mass Index calculator, you are just at the upper range of 'overweight'. That same calculator says that 178 lbs is the absolute highest 'normal weight' for you. If you're having issues with your weight and/or being made fun of, you may want to talk to your school counselor.
