My facial hair has never grown very fast, so I shave about every 2 or 3 days, and I use a manual razor (Gillette Fusion)

I pluck each individual hair off my chin with my toenail clippers. It works surprisingly well, despite it being painful. As for pubic hair, I just let it grow wild.

Are you wanting women answers too?

Once a week and I use an electric razor.

omg I am exactly the same. Same razor and same schedule. Madness!

However my local newsagent sells disposable Bics and not Fusion blades, and as I can never be bothered going to Tesco I usually just end up using those. They're awful. A few months ago I shaved the letter T into my chest (my name is Tom) using Bic disposables, it took seven of them :[ totally worth it though

Here's my pattern...

Shave regularly. Get Bored. Grow Beard. Love it. Get annoyed. Shave it. Continue for a while. Get bored. Grow Beard. Love it. Get annoyed. Shave......... Rinse and repeat for the rest of my damn life. D:

I use an electric for that sexy stubble look. Or whatever disposable razors where on offer that week (must have vitamin e strip thingy). Now you know! :/

Rawr!

I shave when I can, and when I do, it's with an old-fashioned razor. I don't use shaving cream, I use water.

Astraea

I used to be able to pluck my beard hairs with my fingers but it seems they have evolved and now I can't remove any of them no matter how hard I try.

I shave with a regular two-bladed razor with soap and water. Usually once a week depending on the circumstances. If I find my beard annoying I shave it off and sometimes along with my mustache.

Actually, it's been proven that shaving causes hair to grow back faster and more fully. It sounds weird, but it works, trust me!

Actually, you CAN! But I hear it costs somewhere around two grand, and I don't think it's a widely available procedure yet.

I shave as infrequently as I can get away with (AKA as long as I don't have a job that requires me to), 'cause I LIKE my beard! Even if I DO shave, I keep the 'stache ('cause I look horrible without it, IMO). I use a Gilette "SensorExcell" when I do shave.

I shave almost every day, but I'll grow the goatee out from time to time and then, much like Machu, get bored with it and shave it off. I use a Sensor 3 or XL.

Plain old gamer :)

Machu and I are on the exact same page on this one.

I think that it just alters the angle of the follicles to produce thicker looking hair, rather than actually causing more hair to grow. I could be wrong though, I just read that somewhere and it made sense.

@shake_zula: Maybe, I dunno. Even that would be better than nothing if you're trying to grow noticable facial hair, right?
