I was just wondering how seriously some of you take hygiene. I for one and a major germ freak. I can't even shake hands with a person in school if I know their personality. Most likely, if they can't even take class seriously, or even any sort of work for that matter, then they obviously don't care if their hands are 100% clean. It sickens me to see so many kids putting their hands under the water for ONE second, then leaving. Or, NOT EVEN WASHING THEIR HANDS AT ALL! So, is it just me? Am I the only OCD one on this site?
I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!

Mee too. I REALLY HATE IT when I use the bathroom at school and when I go wash my hands, there's no soap left. So I am too.
Enjoy the CHEESE of life.

I don't worry about washing my hands most of the time and some of the most germophobic people I know aren't the hardest workers in school so I think your system of judgment is a little flawed.

I'm ridiculously OCD about my game systems and anything related. My DSi recently got a small scratch on it and the ONLY thing keeping me from getting a new on is all my DSiWare. Otherwise, this thing would be gone!

I washed my hands twice before entering this thread and posting.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I'm like that too. No one touches my games or system unless I'm watching, and I keep my Dsi super clean. It's funny, though, since I'm a slob other than that (if you're not already, having three kids under the age of 6 constantly making messes will turn you into one). I wash my hands with soap and all that, but a wrapper on the floor..... don't worry, every little thing gonna be alright!

I can respect that, it's just the fact that I can't see irresponsible people taking something that most people deem "less important" seriously. Oh, and for the record, I'm crazy germaphobic and my GPA has never been below a 4.0

I could quite easily be OCD if I gave myself the chance. But I won't allow it!

@Bleachfan888 - I always thought your username referred to you being a fan of the comic/anime Bleach, but now I am starting to think you are a 'Household Product' Bleach Fan seeing as you hate germs so much
I am not at all OCD, I take everything as it comes and rarely worry or stress out about things, life is too short.
This is good

As a general rule, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder would reflect particular illogical patterns, habits and feats of repitition hold sway over your own life. Other people washing their hands isn't going to fall under that blanket. You'd more likely just be a germophobe.

Regarding handwashing, I always do if I drop a duece. Just handling the captain usually doesn't require it, but I'll wash my hands after taking a leak if I remember. It's not like I'm peeing on my hands, after all.
Maybe if I'm really drunk.

@TheFox: Sadly, that was me... There were several occassions where I've washed my hands for no real reason at all...My hands bled sometimes because they became too dry from the soap...I always had to check, double check, and then check again to see if things were in order.I'm trying my best to fix myself, and it seems to be going ok, but idk if I'm actually OCD by your standards or official standards sooo...

The irony here by washing your hands until they become cracked and bloody you've given a superior entry point for all sorts of nasty things.

So I've learned. That is what motivates me to say no to soap!
