Mario will last as long as Nintendo lasts.

I don't really have an answer, but I'm pretty sure they'll stay around for a long time. They make Nintendo millions!

Purgatory will freeze over when the Mario series ends.

Mario series: Until Nintendo dies.Pokemon series: It's losing steam, so unless they are going to do a proper RPG on the consoles, I say kill the franchise.Zelda: Depends if it's not called "The Last Story" as subtitle, we'll see at least one game for every Nintendo console.Kirby: Unless the Kirby Wii game is coming, it'll probably be handheld for the rest of it's life.Metroid: Depends if Super Metroid is not the last title chronically.

Nah, I predict longer.
Why can't Metroid crawl?

Forever and ever. Hooray.
(See those 5 game series you listed? Those 5 words are $5 million+ to Nintendo. )

They cancelled Kirby Wii a long time ago...

You want the Pokemon series to end? Why? Those are good games!

I shall host a gigantic party the day Nintendo says they will forever cancel the Pokemon series, and I shall invite all of you to it.

Well they can cancel the Pokemon tv show, but not the games!
18. Posted: Mon 28th Sep 2009 01:06 BST
I HIGHLY, HIGHLY doubt Pokemon will end. They have games, cards, a TV show, movies, posters, lunchboxes...you name it! Pokemon to Nintendo is like Hannah Montana to Wal-Mart.
