So how fast can everyone press the A button. Back in my prime there was a minigame in mario party 7 i believe, where you had to press A as many times as you could in 10 seconds to smash a hammer on a switch or something. I was able to hit it 103 times in 10 seconds, so presumably I had an average of about 10.3 times per second.
Hm...I can remember being able to tap somewhat fast. I remember this minigame where you had to be the first one to smack away all of the sections of a Pokey. I remember always getting around seven seconds, if my finger wasn't in pain from button mashing already.
REALLY FAST so fast my game wouldn't register properly and skip a few presses.
goodbyes are a sad part of life but for every end there's a new beggining so one must never stop looking forward to the next dawn

I'm sorry, but 10 times in one second? Don't buy it.
?
That's very believable.
Definitely more believable than ol' Master Higgins! 16 per second… that guy must be part hummingbird.
Did you know that it is not humanly possible to press a button more than 16 times per second? This means ol' Master Higgins can indeed press a button 16 times in one second if he very well wishes to do so.
Too slow! That's why I hated so many minigames in the Mario Party series.
EDIT: And why I never beat Starfox Adventures.
Let's not forgot the Boo in Mario Party 2 and 3 that steals your coins and gives it to another player, and you had to press A to chase Boo away. On Hard, the computer presses the A button faster than the console can process it, making it impossible to match the computer.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
dunno but im pretty fast at pressing the off button on a n64 console

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
In consoles I suck at that. In arcades, since the controller is fixed to the cabinet and the buttons allow you to use two fingers alternatively, then I found it much easier. SNK was fond of putting those minigames as bonus on some of their early fighting games.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
