Topic: How do you store your controllers?

Just trying to get some ideas. I recently finished cleaning and rearranging my rec-room (where I do most of my gaming). It gets dusty down there fairly quickly, so I like keeping my controllers stored where minimal dust will collect. I was keeping my controllers in one of those plastic storage carts with drawers. The issue is that I have no where to put the cart anymore, so I'm trying to explore other options.

So, how to do you store your gaming controllers?

I put them in a bin under an end-table in the family room, with a lid on it so they don't get as dusty. But that's only the ones I'm not using - the rest just go right on top of the console. I don't mind dust at all and only clean stuff once a month.

I have two bookshelves dedicated to controllers... I just dust them regularly. I used to use a plastic bin but I realized it made it too hard to keep things compartmentalized.

I have a small chest that I keep that stuff in. The chest is actually designed to store games, but since I've gone digital, I've found a new use for it.

Removed the metal bar in the middle, and it's currently holding 2 of each Pro Controllers, Wii Remotes, Nunchucks, and Classic Controller Pros, 4 Gamecube controllers, and 4 PS2 controllers. Pretty handy.

I have a double length drawer full along with the most used 6 out lying around.

I am going to use an old attaché case and cut controller slots into an appropriately sized block of foam when I can be bothered

In the meantime I keep them in a pile near the consoles with the most recently used ones on the top. (today it's Dreamcast)

i have a lot of back up controllers. i take them a part and clean them inside out with antibacterial hand soap, even the buttons. i then replace the button membranes if needed. i keep these kits in baggies labeled with whatever system they are. i keep all game related repair parts in a small sterilite container. as for the controllers they go in a sterilite container just like this:

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.

I keep them wherever. On the console, on a shelf, next to the TV, things like that. I don't leave them laying on the floor though.
