Topic: How do you sort Zelda games alphabetically?

This is a somewhat odd question, but I always sort my games (whether they be carts or digital download icons) alphabetically and I'm never quite sure what to do with Zelda titles. What does everyone else do?

Do you put them under the first non-article letter of the title, for example "L" for The Legend of Zelda?
Or do you always file them under "Z" regardless of the prefix?
Or do you use the first letter in the title even if it is "The" and file it under "T"?

I'd start with "L" For "Legend of Zelda", then use the first letter of their subtitle to further organize them, skipping articles like "A" and "The"

That is what I have typically done, but where I question myself is I end up with Zelda games separated like "The Legend of Zelda" and "Zelda 2: The Adventures of Link".

Lol, nice question.

I actually have gone back and forth when re-organizing my games; sometimes i'll put them under "L", sometimes i'll put them under "Z". Currently they're under "L".

As far as within the series, I arrange them not by their subtitle, but by their year of release.

The anachronism is Adventure of Link, which is technically titled "Zelda II: The Adventure of Link", so if you're particularly anal, it should be with the "Z"s and not the "L"s.

EDIT: Lol @Sargon ! You and I were thinking the same thing about Zelda II

Well since they are all on different systems I put them in alphabetical order along with all of my other games. Since most of them start with The Legend of Zelda I put them under L. However since the only system I have multiple Zeldas are NES (I have The Legend of Zelda and Zelda II:) they are next to each other and then I continue the alphabet.

Sort alphabetically by series (with all Zelda games, including Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, under "L") and the sort individual games within a franchise by year of release.

I would keep the series together. Maybe you can pick "Z" and put them all at the end

I have them all under "L", except for Zelda II, which I have under "Z".

Yeah, it's seperated from the others, but it kinda fits in a strange way, since it's the "outcast" of the series, gameplay wise.
