I'm talking about Lucina from Fire Emblem Awakening. She's playable in the newest Smash Bros in case you didn't know. In Fire Emblem Awakening, her name is never pronounced. After that, literally everyone I know pronounced her name with an 's', like 'Lusina'. Heck, even the trailer announcing her as playable pronounces her name with an 's'. However, in the Japanese version of Smash Bros 3DS, when Lucina wins, they pronounce her name with a 'k', like 'Lukina'.
So I'm confused. Is this just the difference between English and Japanese pronounciation? Is this different for each region? If not, then what is the official pronounciation? With an 's' or a 'k'?
and this is why sometimes I hate/love spanisha dn Japanese have similar phonetic...
Japan: lukina or loo-ke-nuh
Spanish (mexico): lucina or loo-c-na (as in "Namco")
