Hello Everyone I have a question, How do you organize your 3DS game cases? I am asking because i just got a New 2DS and some games and wanted to take good care of the boxes because i want to start a Collection. I understand that shelf wear is inevitable, but i heard some gamers have different ways of taking care of their games and boxes. So I am curious to know what are your methods or ways to take care of them. I hope everyone can reply

I have them on a shelf alongside all my other Nintendo stuff. All I do is dust them of from time to time.

Well all of my games are digital, but I do have them organized into folders. I recently had two separate folders for Nintendo 1st party games and 3rd party games, but I just split the 3rd party folder into "Atlus" and "3rd Party," because by the end of 2015, about half of all my 3rd party games will be Atlus titles anyway.

The order I have them arranged in is kind of a mix-match of IP, developer, and release year. For example, this is what my Nintendo folder looks like:

3D Land | Mario Golf | Fire Emblem | Pokemon X | Kid Icarus
Mario Kart | Mario Tennis | blank spot | Pokemon OR | Smash
Link Between Worlds | Ocarina of Time | blank spot | Star Fox 64 | Kirby

The first blank spot is reserved for Code Name STEAM and the second for Majora's Mask.

So that's Mario arranged in a square at top left, then Intelligent Systems, Game Freak, and Project Sora games grouped together moving right. Along the bottom is a row of Zelda with Star Fox because that puts 3 N64 remakes in a row. Kirby is in the bottom right because the closest association would be that it's a character created by Masahiro Sakurai, so I put him under the Project Sora games.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

I don't have a 3DS, but I organize all my other games chronologically. You'll learn soon enough when the games were released; The knowledge of the release dates comes as a bonus as your collection grows.

I always organize my games alphabetically on a shelf whenever possible. That's just how I've always done it.

I just have all of them stacked on top of eachother, with the older games at the bottom. It's quite a large stack, but I never have to sort through it since I keep all the carts inside my messenger bag.

I don't - I have one of those club Nintendo gamecard cases full of 3DS games and one of DS games. All the rest are in the loft and annoying to access. (I do sometimes swap them over when I finish a decent amount).
