I wanted to see a review of Sin and Punishment (on youtube). @ the end of yhe review i happened to notice the contrasting white URL on the black background @ the end of the clip and the voice in the vid saying i should visit the site...It actually turned out to NOT be a waste of my time! (Here's coming from a guy who spends most of his time on youtube)

I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!

LOL. I spend all of my time on youtube. Look up the Gman Squad. I looked up a lot of videogame spoofs.

Then u should look up the final final fantasy (or something like that). I just found it last week. A background on the FF universe would b helpful though...

Nintendo Life found me, but I kinda found it. Ant badgered me into writing reviews (it was the promise of all the E3 women and free games that hooked me).

I s'pose it must have been 8 years ago when I first went on a site called GC-UK.com (which became TheGamesWire, which then became Nintendo Life), and I found that on the very first day I had the internet at home. Couldn't go to another site now; been here too long.

I was around during the first days of the Wii by stumbling upon VC-Reviews.

I found it about a week or two before WiiWare launched in Europe, and I was looking for more details on what happens in the games, so I googled "WiiWare" and I got WiiWare-World, which is why I was most loyal to that site, since it was the first one of the three I found. I quite liked it, and stuck around.

I found WiiWare World when I was looking for a WiiWare reveiw site.

I rule when it comes to games. So deal with it.

I found this site looking to buy a nintendo dsi.

Yay! Number 50!

I miss having a chatroom that was always in beta.

All I can say is, "Thank God for Google!"

What DID you expect? It makes perfect sense to me, because most video game sites don't bother to review VC games at all, or at least they didn't when I was looking for a good source of VC reviews.

I found it through VC Reviews like most others

I expected they would find it through google, but I thought most people would find it by searching "NINTENDO"
That was just my first thought, but it makes sense how most people found it though.

Well, since so many of us have been around longer than that, searching "Nintendo" wouldn't have found the site, it being that we were using VC-Reviews.com. I guess your lack of foresight in this area is based upon the fact that you found the site after the merger.

Hi, I've been lurking on this site (well VC -reviews) since I got my Wii at launch. This is my first post. I found this site while looking for VC reviews and also looking for Mean Machines (an old games mag here in the UK).Am I right in thinking that Dazza used to write for this mag ?loved it back in the day!! Anyway i pretty much visit this site everyday for all Nintendo related goodness and really like the great community you have on these forums so I will try to join in more often. This site has got to be one of the best gaming websites on the web as the site is so clean and easy to use and also all (well most!!) of the comments are useful and interesting unlike other gaming websites where every discussion ends up in fanboys slagging each other off.Anyway looking forward to some interesting discussions in the future.Long live NL!!
.Oh and just so you all know I believe in the God of the Fruit Monkey hence my avatar. PEACE.

Haha I was just a young teenager when Mean Machines ruled the roost. Along with my partner in crime Damo, we created the Mean Machines Archive which is the ultimate tribute to the mag. We interviewed all of the old writers including Julian 'Jazza' Rignall and sometimes they even post on the forum.

The basic framework of that site is what became VC-Reviews V1, once it took off and became popular with folks on the web we joined forces with Ant who was already running Nintendo Life. He helped take the site to the next level and add lots of missing functionality. The rest is history!

I was doing a search for "unsafe websites" and this one topped the list.

I was looking at WiiWare related stuff a bit over a year ago, and found that site. I then finally felt like browsing the affiliated sites (namely, this one) about a month or two before the merger

I use the same username on TVTropes and youtube. look me up!

I was looking for any reviews for Real Soccer 2009 for the Dsiware, which I wanted to be my first dsiware game purchase(free 1000 point ). Im not sure many review sites gamerankings.com had for that game but Nintendo Life was one of them. It didnt take long for me to figure out that N. Life was the pretty much the only site that had a review for every single Dsiware release.

BTW: Asphalt 4 ended up being my first DSiware purchase which I still enjoy to quick race on......
Thanks Nintendo Life

I was looking for VC reviews and upcoming releases (thinking somewhere on the interwebs would know what upcoming releases were in store for the VC...oh, how young and naive I was). I found VC-reviews.com and a couple months later it changed into Nintendo life, and I got hooked on the whole thing. So much less of a time sucker when it was just VC reviews.

I am way too lazy to think of something clever.
