Topic: how did you find this site?

I stumbled upon it after I googled "mario kart friend codes" and there happened to be a forum on it here. I thought the site was cool, and had lots of good nintendo info, so I joined. That was about a month ago.

Daz contacted me to see if he could use my Virtual Turbo videos I'd made for my Virtual Turbo site on VC-Reviews. Next thing I knew, I was asked to write the TurboGrafx-16 Hardware Focus and the rest is history. So I never actually found the site, the site found me.

Found it looking for vc reviews, and read for a long time. Loved the nintendolife update and decided to register.

Yeah Daz wanted me to write reviews for their upcoming WiiWare World site, and then when I closed the Virtual Turbo site, he asked if I'd write reviews for VC-Reviews as well and that's how it all began.

I soon proved my worth (i.e. they felt sorry for me) and I became WiiWare Editor.

Well that's a good question. VC-Reviews launched right about the time the Wii launched in the US. So November 19, 2006, a bit over 2 1/2 years. Then WiiWare World debuted May 12, 2008, the day the WiiWare service launched in NA. That's about the time I joined on full-time. Then we did the site fusion to Nintendo Life on April 1, 2009.

I started with vc-reviews soon after it launched. I don't remember exactly how I found it...I probably googled "virtual console".

I found this beauty of a site by the need for a good site on VC Reviews and googled for that. I'm on the same boat as the others here then. Always come back and watched it grow to WiiWareWorld to NintendoLife, which I think made this site amazing. Love the new look and always have it on my tab bar. Just decided recently to stop lurking and join on this fun site!

Found after searching for virtual console reviews

I found vc-reviews.com back about 2 years ago by googling for virtual console reviews. This site got me into posting comments below news items And I still use vc-reviews.com in url line

Gee, several people have already posted my story. I'm guessing it's a REALLY common one. After all, when I found it, it was still VC-Reviews, pre-WiiWare launch. Kinda the first thing that pops up when you search for VC Reviews. Funny how that works out, huh?

I stumbled upon this site on January of this year. This was when I first got internet access and finally took my Wii online. Of course the first thing I wanted to do was download some Virtual Console games. I wanted games that I never got the chance to play when I was younger. I needed some good reviews so I googled virtual console reviews and to my surprise, a site for that actually existed! I was so impressed by the Virtual Console Reviews site as well as WiiWare World that I decided to stick with Nintendo Life after the sites merged and I've been coming here ever since!
EDIT: It turns out that I joined this site in February but I have been a frequent visitor since January!

I was browsing the Wii Ware page on Wikipedia and found a link to this site

I joined the site more less a year ago, and my story is a bit different, I was looking for a review for "Family Table Tennis" (thank God I found it ) and I found Wiiware World, I didn't know VC-reviews existed until I found a link on someone's comment, since then those sites became my source for VC/WW news and reviews, visited frequently and had fun with everyone's comments; then they became NintendoLife, and now they're my source for everything Nintendo .

yea i didnt know all these other sites exsisted until yall became nintendo life. i believe i found wiiware world first. i googled wiiware reviews and took me to wiiware world. the site was fresh and had good writers so decided to stay as well. not long after, wiiware world changed to nintendo life and it really is the best stop on the internet about everything nintendo. i actually participate in the forums here and try to be as active as i can. i really like the community here.

...i'm not sure actually, i think i just found it one day and joined o.O lol
