All i know is, the 8yo girl asked for the cards. I don't know anything about Pokemon trading cards myself . Any recommendations? Guidelines? I'm assuming a 100 card set. I want to avoid getting an unpopular set in within a week. $20-$40. When I look on Amazon there are all sorts of different sets, i don't know what's going on.
Get one of the elite trainer boxes or a lunch box set.
Depending on how much she plays, the elite box has about 8-10 booster packs and good quality accessories to play the game with, while the lunch box has stickers, pencils, a note pad, 2-3 special edition cards, a small album for cards, and 5 assorted booster packs.
Just get whichever has the latest release date on Amazon.
@Eel Hey, in case I don't see much at stores, take a look and this amazon result for elite trainer sets, I can't tell which are most recent. If that's not easy to answer, you can tell me
Now, I found out presents are supposed to be $10-$20. I'm assuming this girl already collects/plays. Should I get some regular cards and one or two other types of cards? Boosters, Energy, Theme deck, EX, GX? Or a set that sells them together? @Eel or if anyone else has a recommendation.
