When I was kid we had this game... In this game you fly a space ship into a larger space ship. You must find the middle of the larger ship, start a destruct sequence, and find your way back out to safety. Each level is a new, larger, more complicated ship to navigate and destroy. I've looked for hours on the nintendo website but there are just too many titles to search through. Any help would be great. Thanks!
If so, that's a great game!!! I remember renting it at the video store many moons ago. However, IIRC, it had more than just shmup parts to it. It had some action/adventure elements to it as well. And thus we may not be thinking about the same game.
Your ship is in the center of the screen and stays there. You navigate through the other larger ship while it moves around you creating the illusion you're flying through the ship. The larger ship you're attempting to navigate is essentially a large maze you must navigate to find the center. Once found you have to follow the same way back out. You can move in any direction. It isn't side or top down scrolling, etc.
