Topic: Pixelated SNES display

I've recently brought a SNES unfortunately my TV (samsung )does not have the red white yellow ports where the red yellow white plugs go in i am using a scart adopter with the red yellow white plugs so i plug them in and put the other end in the back of the snes i set my tv to EXT as i dont have AV turn the snes on and the tv responds but the picture is soooooo dotty
am i doing some thing wrong?
do i need a rf wire as well?
do i need a rf switch?
PLEASE HELP

My tv is already hdtv it runs at 1080P

That's the problem.

If you want your 30 years old console to look as it was meant to look, get a 30 years old tv to use it with.

Or one of those new retro upscallers, they'll make the games look decent on new TVs.
