Topic: Have you received the new Nintendo Power? (suscribers)

I've been expecting it the past two weeks but I don't know if I should wait any longer or buy it from the store? It was supposed to be my first issue.

Nope, but one their site it says it goes on sale September 1st, so you'll probably get it tomorrow. Always check the site because they tend to give you a good idea of when to expect it.

The October issue? Nope. I hope I get it tomorrow too, even if the cover story is about licensed trash.

i think the next issue were getting is talking about a big annoucement for DSiWare they said in the magazine people will be very very happy

Personally I don't care about DSiware.
But what I'm looking forward to is the Wii and DS release calendar updates, NMH 2 coverage, and the review for Cursed Mountain.
A lot about that magazine I have grown to really love more now than ever before.

I read that for unknown reasons they couldn't get the NMH2 coverage for the issue. The preview section includes an apology for it.

I'm looking at the October issue(Avatar cover) right now. It has some pretty good articles on Towers of Shadow, Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love and Dementium II.

That's weird, especially since it was advertised in last month's 'next month' page.

I saw this topic this morning and then the magazine was waiting for me when I got home a little bit ago.

I was most intrigued by this game Tower of Shadow (working title). I'd never even heard of this one before but I just had to read their whole 5 or 6 page coverage on it because it's got such an interesting concept and style. You see, your character is a shadow and your movement is confined to the shadows created by the environment. Changes in the lighting can change the play field entirely for you, though they're being kind of tight-lipped about how that will be controlled. It sounds pretty good so far though. But it's not coming out until summer 2010.

You could buy a copy at like Rite Aid or something, keep the recipt, then return it when it comes in the mail Or you could just hang around Rite Aid and read it.
