I don't get all the hate on Gamestop's used games when they are ironically more lenient with used games
Me too. I've never had a bad experience at all with GameStop, they even replaced the used 1080 Avalanche disc that I bought from them once.
Where exactly does all the furious rage at GameStop come from?
The fact that they are a bunch of crooks that's where it comes from. Seriously selling used games as new.
Anyway I only went to a Pawn Shop once when I lived in Reno and that was back in 2000. The only thing I bought there was a SNES with a bunch of games. I can't remember how much I spent or what exactly the games were but I remember that they were a bunch of puzzle games. If I want used games I usually go to a retro game store that is in the town next to me, either that or Goodwill. If I am looking for current gen used games I get them from a local record store that sells used and new games.

Let me call my friend who's an expert in if i ever was to pawn shop...
This. I asked him about my game collection and this is what he had to say:

Well there was one pawn shop but is now closed a nice while ago and remember my friend getting Skyrim on the PS3 either brand new or used once for like $30 or less and me getting a used copy of Super Mario 3D land for $20 in good condition, Eb games is not in my town so the ones I go to when I have to travel and I find a few good deals, even games that were not in store like Wal-Mart when it should be and was cheaper then online purchase, but if you ever try to sell the majority of the time you won't get much, the last time I sold a few old games and got $60 which surprised me.
I got a couple of gems from the pawn and flea market before but they are either very cheap or very expensive. You have to be lucky or hardcore to find the game you wanted for a good deal.

or just want so many games that the chances of finding it get high!

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

Speaking of NWC this also happened in a pawn shop...
I tried one of the pawnshops in my area, but they barely had anything, and nothing older than PS2 which made me a very sad camper indeed. Going to try the other pawnshop in the area and see if I can't get lucky...
